My new organic bamboo and friendly toothbrush! Read about Humble Brush here. It’s in Swedish so here’s a little about it that I’ve translated to Englishas much as I could.
“Our goal is to sell environmentally friendly, humble and high quality oral care products while helping to improve the oral health of people in need around the world.
We have found reliable and respected organizations who share our vision: Humble Partners. Along with these organizations, we try to reach our common goal where we have a society where no man lives without access to quality and affordable dental care. For every sold toothbrush so we donate the equivalent of a toothbrush. A very clear and genuine concept.
Together with our Partners Humble, we want to provide dental care to people who are in acute distress. We also want to educate about the importance of good oral hygiene. We therefore let our Humble Partners tell you exactly what they need. Simply donate physical toothbrushes would not be sustainable in the long run. Therefore, we will donate the equivalent of a toothbrush, which put simply means the production cost of a toothbrush. Obviously we donate additionally even physical toothbrushes if needed.
1. For each item sold is donated a toothbrush. 2. Our Humble Partners helps people in need. 3. People in need get a healthy oral health & 4. Healthy gums = improved health in general.”
& They’re also eco-friendly, non-toxic and BPA free. BPA (Bisphenol A) a chemical mostly found in plastic, can get you brain and behavior problems, act like an hormone and mess up your body’s natural hormones, increased risk of cancer and heart problems.
Make sure you also take or make the time to watch this amazing documentary about plastic pollution. We could do so much just by little small changes in our lifestyles. Think about the future, the home of your children and gran-kids. If we don’t take care of our planet, who will? This beautiful place we call earth will slowly get destroyed and by the end of it, we’ll only have ourselves to blame. So start making a difference!
Look at that? Caused by humans and humans only. Not only destroying our home but also harming innocent and beautiful creatures, such as fishes and it has also been found inside the stomachs of Albatross birds. Over 4.7 billion plastic items are dumped in landfills and oceans every year worldwide. You can find a solution to this crisis by small changes, it’s really that easy and simple. The global environment will thank you, so will the future.
We need to also teach the kids, who are our future that the key to living a happier and healthier life is not by being rich and living a lavish lifestyle with the latest tech. It’s about taking good care of their mental and physical health, and the ones around them plus taking care of our planet.
